Hey I have a new PS2 Emulator. Hope it works on your Computers. You need and ISO file of the game and it works. I have uploded it on Sangamm's page and also sent the file to BLCONline to STE and others.

An ISO file is an image (copy) of the PS game on your hard disk. I have an ISO of ISS PE2 (a PS1 game) on my hard-drive, copied using software called 'Blindread' ('CDRWIN' is another good program to do this. Both have trial versions downloadable for free on the internet).
Once you have copied the game off the cd onto your hard disk you can then play it, without the need for the cd in your cd-rom drive, using an emulator ( I use epsxe). You can also add patches etc, and burn it back onto a cd if you have a cd-rw, to play the patched version on your playstation (although I think you need your ps chipped to do this).
Hope this helps...

I will try to send Sangamm through email. Your site has a problem Sangamm the file doesn't upload. Please correct it man.
Regarding the .iso, jonah is perfectly correct. Actually even I use the software "BLINDREAD" & "BLINDWRITE" to make .iso and write cdS

ISOs of PS2 games ? u mean DVDs , wow thats gonna take up a LOt of HDD space dude !

one more thing struck me.
since the PS2 by itself is backward compatile, the PS2 emulators must be able to run the PS1 games too rite ?

Unluckly the emulator that I have does not have the capability to play PS1 files.

Where can i find this Blind Read???

Please tell me how to use it

Try this link;
http://www.blindwrite.com/download/BWLIGHT.EXE
You'll download a trial version of the following-
'Blindread' to copy the ps game to your hard disk.(Make sure you've enough hard disk space - my copy of ISS PE2- a ps1 game- is 1.78 GB big!).
'Blindwrite' to burn to a new cd.
Once you've downloaded it's pretty easy to use. Just read the instructions.

Another one worth trying is CDRWIN (search the internet), but I couldn't get it to copy the game when I tried it (kept getting an error message ??? I don't think my cd-r was compatible).

sangamm,
Don't know what you mean, but Blindread is a cd copying software, and Saptarshi says his ps2 emulator doesn't play ps1 games. I recommend epsxe for PS1 games, as I've said in earlier posts and threads.

The emulator cannot play PS1 files. And I have no idea why ? Actually the engine used by Ps2 is different and you need a 3D card to play Ps2 games.
