just got the game and i have a load of questions.

1/ Whats the best looking visual settings you can have?

i have a really powerful machine and want it to look at its absolute best.

there is a cricket 2004.ini file in my documents, what setting will give the best looks

TextureFilter=2
Shadows=1
LOD=3
Shading=1
Pitch=1
Antialiasing=0
Refresh=Default
VideoScreens=1

2/ How do you duck deliveries, i keep getting hit on short balls.

3/ How do you pad off spin bowlers?

4/ Is there a better player editor than the ingame one?

5/ Whats the best ai patch?

1. Not sure, depends on your graphics card.

2. The answer is in the manual.

3. By leavig the bowl. There's no exact button to pad the ball.

4. Yeah, you can get it from www.planetcricket.org/downloads

5. Try the latest versions as this depends on your own opinion.

Downloads I recommend? Ooooh, not sure about that one.

which exactly is the player editor, i want to edit player averages.

That just stores the settings, you can change them directly by selecting settings when the autorun menu comes up
To make it look average (the best you can get anyway) just bump up the AA and AF, put it on a high resolution and put all the settings on max
