I don't think that they are necessary and they would askew the text due to their awkward shape and size.

Manee, they can be resized. If you remember I think it might have been Kev resized a load before the forums went through its upgrade a long time ago.

But, yes they are unnecessary. Smileys are just to show mood, or help when typing sarcasm etc.

Even more smileys would encourage the over-use of them and in the past we've had members do this and it is so annoying and makes you want to kill them!

Yeh, i believe when Kev did them they did some what mess a line up, but not too much extent.

It is still on a white background, look at it in the NZ style. Only smileys that are on a completely transparent background can be used.
