Newbie Question - 3d Graphics cards

Hi Guys, after getting BLC two years ago enjoying it then, I left it for some time. I had a Voodoo banshee card then and with the patch from codemasters that had a 'gouraud shading' option (did i spell that right?) the wickets looked really good. My problem is that I now have a TNT2 graphics card which is twice a powerful as the voodoo yet the wickets in BLC are all 'blocky' and pixellated. Is there something I can do to improve the look of the pitches? The outfields I can live with but the wickets don't look real at all.

Thanks

Give this a try;
Go to classic matches, type in FILTERED where the password is and then go back and start a game. You should see the wickets look less pixelated.
The trouble is, sometimes I get a line running down the middle of the wicket when I use the FILTERED cheat. Does anyone else get this?

Thanks Jonah I'll try that out.

Yep - I'm getting the line down the centre of the wicket too! (RivaTNT2 32mb graphics card) I get it both on D3DTNT.exe and D3DLow.exe . I haven't been able to run the D3Dhigh.exe at all (I couldn't before either).

Perhaps its a fault with the card - I run on a RivaTNT2 32mb too.

Jonah - what drivers are you using with your graphics card? I find that I get a lot of random crashes (when running Brian Lara) which I didn't get with my voodoo banshee card. Do you get these too? I'm currently using the 12.41 detonator drivers.

iant,
I'm currently using the previous drivers to you (can't remember the version), but I too get random crashes on BLC. I save the game after each over, so if it does crash, I can reload from the previous over.
