not able to differentiate between slow and fast deliveries.

hello ppl,
i have played 6-7 matches of blic now and find it to be more engrossing than cricket 2005.but while batting i have one problem.and that is i am not able to find out which ball will be a slower ball and which will be a normal one..as the meter on both the occasions goes till the end.
so sometimes the bowler bowls short pitched balls which end up to be slwoer balls and i either press the key too quickly or slowly.(expecting it to be a slower ball..but it turns out to be a faster one)
so can someone pls help me out with that.
and also.
the 3 rd meter down on the left hand corner..is it the timing bar?
if yes which is the position of the white marker?between the 2 dots?

I love the odd surprise slower balls that you can't detect as it adds realism. I enoy being occasionally surprised by computer tactics, as this is rare in games in my experience. It's the real slow ones you know are coming that are annoying to me.
