Its past the half way stage in this test match. Australia need just 18 runs to avoid the follow on with five wickets in hand. What do you think will happen? Can Gilly and Katz build up a big partnership and take Australia to atleast 450? Or will the England bowlers rule supreme?

They look good for another 100-150 with that kind of batting line up. The only issue I see is none of these batsmen going on to make big runs, they all seem to be failing right after reaching 50, if at all couple of batsmen could have put their head down and batted they may well have been better off.

Anyways, I dont mind seeing them beaten after how well England have batted.

Yeah thats a shame really. The CPU hasnt really played according to the situation. Though Ponting's wicket was due to a superb slower ball from Hoggard which fooled the Australian captain, but Lehmann actually threw his wicket away, coming down the wicket, when there was no reason to take such a big risk. Lehmann and Katich had built a good partnership, and Lehmann should have really put his head down and played a more patient innings.

sorry guys no updates for two days. that cuz the EPL season has started, and I dint even play the game during the weekend. However I can tell u that the Aussies were bowled out for exactly 400 with Gilchrist unbeaten on 112.

With the start of the EPL season, everything including Cricket 2004 will take a backseat. So dont be surprised if my posts arent updated as frequently as they have been in the past two months, or if my stories have stalled. This is what Footie does!

Some aggressive bowling from the Aussies has seen them peg back England to 129-4 at Lunch on Day 4. England have an overall lead of 236 now, with Thorpe and Key the two batsman in the middle. The Aussies kept on attacking despite conceding runs, and at the end, its worked well for Ponting and his boys.

With 5 sessions left, all the three possible results can happen. England still have a slight upper hand, but the Aussies are well capable to doing almost anything and everything to win a match.

England are now 322 runs ahead, and there are still four sessions left in this test match. What do you think? Have England scored enough already? Or do they need to try and get to 370-380, to take a win for Australia out of the picture?
