ODI Records Being Broken

The point is, could someone break his record.

Doubt it. Just fed up with some people banging on about pace as if it's the only thing you need in cricket. Really irritates me.

Yeah but wouldn't get more satifation outta bagging a 5fer and winning your team the match over breaking the record of a the fastest ball ever bowled in a International cricket match and it possibly getting clipped away for 4?

You're right Ben, but that's not the point of the thread.

Probably would have seen the highest ever ODI total being broken too.
Yep. 500-maybe a possible 600 was on the cards.
And fastest hundred-Boucher.

No way. Boucher got his 50 off 21 balls, I think, which would have meant he would have had to get the next fifty off 15 balls, which I doubt. And SA scored 350 in 40 overs. I doubt they'd have scored 150 in the next ten, let alone 250 which would have been near impossible.

SA could have crossed 500 had it been a 50-over game.
Still there was Justin Kemp,Shaun Pollock to come.
Would have been a great achievement.

I know this may sound a little crude/mean but most deaths? I don't mean to sound bad but...Manjural, his friend, and now Woolmer..:(

Not an ODI record but India are closing in fast on the highest ever World Cup score.
