I have an image in paint that i have edited and i want to put it as my avatar is this possible???

As long as that file is less than 30kb and 100x100 pixels yes.

But you'll probably need to resize it first. Now before people go and suggest photoshop for this I would suggest that there are plenty of free applications available to download from the web that allow simple image editing and photoshop is massively over complicated and way too expensive if all you want to do is crop a few images and add simple effects.

Maybe goto www.download.com and type in something like "image editing" and see what pops up.

It's very similar, but you can't do as many effects onto the pictures.

well photoshop is quite bit more advanced and sometimes is difficult to get the hang staright away

i do digital imaging at college i spend at least 8 hours a week using it dont worry

Just get Photoshop then if you can just owns all other image editing softwares
