Childish Things are working on the patch for ICC2008, but it's release is dependent upon a decision from Empire. So it is being started for those of you waiting for the patch or eager to hear about it.

Chris mentioned that the on-line bug has been fixed. I can't give you an official list of details of the patch, as I don't know the details of it.

I have been assisting Chris with the database issues so I'm fairly certain that the database will be updated too.

Check the Childish Things forum http://www.childishthings.co.uk/forum/ if you have any database issues to report (but search first!)

patch is out. but i can't download it. as always it stopped after 31%.

and in patch engine it says checksum error.

If you are getting an error after downloading the patch that says something about PatchEngine.exe not being found, go to C:\Program Files\Xplosiv\International Cricket Captain 2008 and open the PatchEngine.exe file.

If you are getting a checksum error, this is because one of the files it is trying to patch has been edited. If you get this error midway through the patching process and try to repatch the game, you may need to reinstall the game for it to work.
