Patching PS2 Version

I am afraid that cannot be true. I mean look at it this way
A PS2 GameCan Be Ripped Into an ISO.
Then with an iso you can see wat is in the game (i.e in pro evolution you have e_text.dat, f_text.dat) using a graphics editor then you just add the new stuff over the old
At the end of the day the PS2 version is exactly the same as the PC version only on disc and for the ps2.
So if you are able to do this to pro evolution what is stopping us from doing the same to Cricket (Its even possible on fifa and thats an EA Game Aswell).
May i just add that the fact that when you burn your new copy you would need to have your PS2 Chipped(Modded) is not actually true and is ok anway as you already own the game.
I know i opened the thread asking questions but now i will be the one hopefully giving answers and hopefully Patching The PS2 Version.

it's possible to patch the ps2 cricket 2005 game. could any1 tell me how to convert .fsh files into .ssh files.
i am asking this because .ssh files are in ps2 version of the game. whereas the pc version of the game has .fsh files. so if someone explain me how to convert .fsh files to .ssh then i am sure there is no stopping for the ps2 cricket 2005 patches. if someone explain me then all the patches that are made on the websites e.g. pitchad, kits, i can import them into the ps2 game easily. all i need is explanation. thanks
