Home game ratings buff:

As established last year, each team will gain a 2-point ratings buff for their home game. The One-Day sim doesn't have an in-built home advantage like the Test sim, so this is done to ensure that home teams do in fact have a home advantage when playing at their own home grounds. I've also decided to make it a 3-point buff for teams with a local captain who have experience captaining in either international games, the PSL, or any of the top-tier domestic competitions in Pakistan.

Captaincy:

Kindly confirm your captain for the season! Please remember two things when appointing your captain; the captain may not be dropped from the playing XI unless he is injured or made unavailable, and having a local captain with international or PSL experience gives you an additional 1-point ratings for home games.

Homeground pitches:

Please confirm the pitch type for your home ground(s), here are the pitches available:

Pitch Types

:bwl::down: Damp/Sticky - Massively in favor of bowlers and an absolute nightmare to bat on.
:left::right: Dusty - Plenty of turn on offer for spinners and a good place to bat for spin-savvy batsmen. Good pace bowlers are still likely to thrive.
:ar::up: Even - Provides an evenly balanced contest for all disciplines of the game.
:bat::left: Flat - A batsman-friendly pitch which provides little or no assistance to bowlers. Expect massive totals.
:bwl::up: Green - A lot of movement on offer early on, making it ideal for fast bowlers. Batting expected to become less difficult as the match progresses.
:ar::left: Hard - Ideal conditions for batting. Good deal of bounce on offer for fast bowlers as well. Could go either way.
:right::left: Dry/Slow - Ideal for slow and spin bowlers as the name suggests. Sometimes quite difficult to bat on.
:down: Poor - Uneven bounce and a huge amount of turn on offer for spinners. Expect a slow hard grind for very few runs.

Credits: @VC the slogger for the pitch types.

Home game allocations:

Some teams have multiple home grounds approved by the league's management committee. If those teams so wish, they may choose to play some of their home games in secondary and tertiary venues, which they can also choose to curate completely different pitches for. Do keep in mind, teams with multiple home grounds have their primary ground marked with an asterisk (*). Should they proceed to the Championship Playoffs, their primary grounds will by default host those matches.

Home game distribution:

Teams from associations that finished in the top-five last season will host an additional home game across the two divisions. Similarly, teams that finish in the top-five this year will host an additional home game next season. Teams relegated from the Championship Division will host those extra games in the National Division.

This is the final final bit of admin before we can officially begin the league. Please see to this ASAP, and feel free to ask me anything you like. :cheers

Bhola decided to hold a series of captaincy assessments and Rashid Khan had outscored everyone, it's almost as if Rashid was a local the way he aced the local conditions and language exams.

Bhola has decided to hand Rashid the captaincy armband.

Bhola also developed a pitch simulator where the squad's skills were simmed on different pitches, with the help of his team ofc. The results from the lab showed extraordinary results on a dusty pitch given the spin depth of Gwadar. Therefore Bhola consulted with his team and it was agreed that a dusty pitch be used for Gwadar home games. He was informed immediately that another club in Balochistan had also opted for a dusty pitch.

Rashid khan was reported saying in a pathan accent: 'Ya brother come to the graveyard'

I feel like people are low-key overanalyzing the local captain ratings buff. I only put it there to make sure people didn't overlook or disregard local captains.

But seeing people prefer some randos over well-established international captains is real weird.

So let me amend the rule a bit:

Local captains with experience captaining either internationally, in the PSL or in one of the top-tier domestic competitions will have an extra ratings buff in home games.
