Looking at both the innings now. I think Mitchell Marsh was the key differentiator.
When I got him at the end of the draft. My expectations from him was only that he'd have an impact in one of our important games. He didn't got chances up front. In the later half of the tournament he did and he couldn't perform. Still he tells me and thanks me for believing in him and keeping him in the XI. Oh boy he did left the best for the last. Deserved MOTM!
Saim Ayub was also in sublime touch. Nafay and Masood played an incredible hand in this win if I count their tournament's performance.
With the ball Hamza, Bumrah and Hasaranga were incredible as usual. The trio carried our team to be fair. I'm also impressed the way Arif performed throughout the tournament and the youngster Ashiq Ali who was suddenly given a call one night before the Final to get ready. He didn't disappoint either.
Overall it was a team effort and without this team. We couldn't have done it. I'm glad that we finally lifted the trophy and will now be bringing home to Karachi.
Lastly I would like to congratulate and thanks @Na Maloom Afraad for conducting such an incredibly successful league. Your Pepsi Cup is famous on the site and very much in demand even with 20 teams (which I know was real effort and work), but props to you for doing this so well
Thank you to all managers as well. I believe we all had a great time.
