Naseem Shah's career-best figures of 6 for 37 routed out the Jaguars for the lowest total in Pepsi Cup history, setting in motion a magical win for the Rhinos.
After bowling the Jaguars out for a measly 89, the Rhinos raced to victory with 9 wickets and 184 balls to spare, improving their net run rate dramatically and leapfrogging the Multan Tigers and the Hyderabad Hawks into third place. Not only have the defending champions put themselves in prime position to qualify for the Championship Playoffs, but they have also ensured relegation for the Azad Kashmir Jaguars with such a one-sided drubbing.

Grey skies, breezy weather, early morning showers, grass on the turf, and Naseem Shah making a comeback into the side—the Rhinos were afforded all the ingredients they could've asked for to cause a ruckus in the Championship Division, and they did not let such a golden opportunity slide. Naseem Shah's career-best figures of 6 for 37 routed out the Jaguars for the lowest total in Pepsi Cup history, setting in motion a magical win for the Rhinos.
After bowling the Jaguars out for a measly 89, the Rhinos raced to victory with 9 wickets and 184 balls to spare, improving their net run rate dramatically and leapfrogging the Multan Tigers and the Hyderabad Hawks into third place. Not only have the defending champions put themselves in prime position to qualify for the Championship Playoffs, but they have also ensured relegation for the Azad Kashmir Jaguars with such a one-sided drubbing.

The Hawks make their case for the playoffs with a resounding win!
A wonderful outing with the ball constrained the Lions to a subpar total on a wicket conducive to batting. Muhammad Hasnain and Marco Jansen, the only two pacers in the Hawks' attack, bagged 7 wickets between themselves. Qasim Akram's 89 and a resilient lower order gave the Lions' total some respectability, but it was still woefully under par. In response, the Hawks lost their opening pair cheaply, but Josh Inglis and Rizwan Mehmood regrouped and put on an outstanding 122-run partnership. Their partnership guided the Hawks to victory, with Saad Khan merely adding the finishing touches.
With this win, the Hawks shoot to fourth place and make their case for a playoff berth, but their fate ultimately lies with the Multan Tigers, who may just overtake them with a win in their final game tomorrow. The Lions, on the other hand, confirm relegation with this defeat, finishing second to last.
And as a direct result of this game, the Rhinos have also secured a playoff berth regardless of what happens in the last two games of the division.
