Picking an all time XI from every Decade

I read the following article:
A World Cricket XI for the ages | Paul Howarth | Independent Sport Blogs

And was inspired to do the same, so the rules are simple, pick a player from every decade (1910s-2010s), who played the majority of his cricket in that decade, to make a team of XI. Only one from every decade allowed. I'm also adding in a rule of my own:
Batsmen have to have spent the majority of their careers batting in the position you place them in, however, you can pick two batsmen in a SINGLE position higher or lower than their most common position. (Makest hings more tricky lol)

This is Paul Howarth's XI:
  1. Hobbs 1910s
  2. Hanif Mohammad 1950s
  3. Bradman 1930s
  4. Hammond 1920s
  5. Compton 1940s
  6. Sobers 1960s
  7. Gilchrist (wk) 2000s
  8. Imran (c) 1980s
  9. Warne 1990s
  10. Lillee 1970s
  11. Steyn 2010s
My list will be up later

Gilchrist (2000s)

I'm adding a rule to my list - 1 player from each nation but I'm going to be a little relaxed with the 1940's given the decade was disrupted due to the war.

1. Sunil Gavaskar - India (1970's)
2. Hanif Mohammad - Pakistan (1950's)
3. Sir Donald Bradman :c: - Australia (1940's)
4. George Headley - West Indies (1930's)
5. Graeme Pollock - South Africa (1960's)
6. Andy Flower :wk: - Zimbabwe (1990's)
7. Shakib Al Hasan - Bangladesh (2010's)
8. Sir Richard Hadlee - New Zealand (1980's)
9. Harold Larwood - England (1920's)
10. Syd Barnes - England (1910's)
11. Muttiah Muralitharan - Sri Lanka (2000's)
