Strengths:

• Depth. Again, this is a team that focused on getting a squad where everyone can start, and be an effective part of the team.
• Seam bowling. A great mix of seamers that could suit any condition, with some out and out pacers, some canny death bowlers, and some swing bowlers.

Weakness:

• A few unusual overseas picks I'd say. It's a very well balanced team, but Mason Crane and P Singh aren't what I would have expected to see

Best Player: Kagiso Rabada. The reigning IPL leading wicket taker is a generational pace talent. He'll also spearhead a very strong quick contingent for this team.
Best Bargain: Mark Wood. I had my eye on both Wood and Sean Abbott, who I both think were undervalued, but given that Wood is a starter across all formats for England and Abbott may have been slightly overrated by me as a local player, I'll go Wood.

Strengths:

• This. Just, this.
• There are also some extremely canny signings to complement these: Tom Banton, Finn Allen, Umesh and Garg stand out.

Weaknesses:

• With so many 30-coin players, depth could be an issue. Particularily fast bowling.

Best Player: Rashid Khan. It's hard to pick between him, Pollard and Bumrah, but Rashid really just is the best legspinner that currently plays T20 cricket, and his batting isn't bad too.
Best Bargain: Finn Allen. If this league was rerun in three or four years, I predict Finn Allen would be at least a 180-coin if not 300-coin player. He has absolute talent. That said he may not get a place in this team as of right now, although this has more to do with the big spend on overseas players this team went for.

Strengths:

• That top order. Opposition bowlers will not like bowling to a team so top loaded.
• Pace bowling is great- at a venue that prefers pace to spin, an attack featuring Finn, Woakes, Jordan, Steyn and Morkel won't be pleasant at all.

Weaknesses:

• While you could argue it's missing a top level spinner, the big weakness here is the unfortunate timing of the ENG-IND matches. It puts a lot of pressure on their backups John Simpson and Azharuddeen.

Best Player: Dawid Malan. Simply the world's best T20i batsman. Not much that can be argued with here, although Rohit Sharma has a good case too
Best Bargain: Robin Uthappa. I doubt he'll start straight away but someone of Uthappa's class and experience is the perfect deputy to Rohit.

Predicted XI: Rohit, Narine, Malan, Morgan, Samson, Parkinson, Woakes, Jordan, Finn, Steyn, Morkel

Strengths:

• What a top order! Finch, Rizwan, Gale, Hafeez, Babar is not just the best in this tournament, it's possibly the best top 5 in PC league history
• Pace bowling stocks aren't bad either, led by Shaheen, Amir and Faheem.

Weaknesses:

• The elephant in the room. There's no spinner.
• Not to mention, there's very little depth, and four players are on international duty.

Best Player: Aaron Finch. This top order is spoiled for choice but I'll have to go a newly in form Finchy just over Babar Azam. On his day Finch is the best in the world.
Best Bargain: Rohail Nazir. I think Rohail is an astute pickup and he'll need to be given he's one of only a couple reserve batsmen.

Predicted Lineup: Finch, Rizwan, Gayle, Babar, Hafeez, Faheem, Tendulkar, Shaheen, Amir, Hasnain, Dilbar

Strengths:

• All-rounders. The Sydney Thunder executed this strategy this season in the BBL- stock the side with allrounders. But these allrounders are better than Nathan McAndrew (who is a terrible cricketer, fyi): Hardik, Morris, Cutting, Axar, Gopal. What a spine.
• Hardik and Morris, plus AJ Tye, make this team's death bowling unit a powerful one.

Weaknesses:

• When they lose KL Rahul to international duty, they will have one or none in terms of reserve batsmen.

Best Player: Chris Morris. I know Hardik and Rahul are more expensive but honestly I rate Morris higher than both of them (although it's tight with Hardik given how close the two are). Good death bowler and late hitter.
Best Bargain: Ben Cutting. Let's exclude Morris, and instead look at the third pace bowling allrounder and a man who was on my list. I've watched Cutting play in Brisbane for nine years and while he's inconsistent both with bat and ball, on his day he's one of the world's finest hitters and a decent old ball bowler too.

Predicted XI: Rahul, Rana, Munro, Iyer, Cutting, Hardik, Morris, Axar, Gopal, Tye, Siraj

Strengths:

• Top order batting. Williamson-Dhawan-Head-Phillips is a great foursome.
• Bowlers, particular domestic bowlers. AShwin, Bhuvi, Ishant, Khaleel, Mishra (at least while Bhuvi isn't away) is a five man attack that allows an international top order.

Weaknesses:

• I'm not fully sure on some of the international picks. As I said the top order is great, but Isuru Udana and Mustafizur, I think there were better options for the same value.

Best Player: Kane Williamson. The Kiwi champion is clearly the best player in this team. Only his expected opening partner gets close.
Best Bargain: Ashton Turner. This team doesn't have many bargains (that's not a bad thing, it has a lot of honest middle tier players who can produce the goods instead) but if he's used right (a la BBL|10), Ashton Turner is worth more than 100 coins.
