What's the game?
The CC Fugitive is a game I've adapted from many forums in which a 'Fugitive' goes on the "run", whilst giving clues to the users on where he is located. If the user uses the clues correctly and finds him, they win.

This version is similar. There's going to be a 'Fugitive' on the run here too - hiding somewhere on the forum. It's your task to solve the clues he's going to be leaving you and find him; earning yourself points in the process and moving up the leaderboard.

Do I have to register?
No. You can play when you like with who you like. But the more often you play, and the more people you share your ideas with, the more points you're likely to score.

How do I play then?
The CC Fugitive will post a clue which must be solved in order to discover the Fugitive's "Identity" (the forum user on which part of the game will be based) on that particular day. Once discovered, it'll be up to you to think of anything and everything you can associate with that person - and then search for it on the forum!

If you're on the right lines, you'll find a 'Calling Card' with another clue on it. This clue, once solved, will either kick you into a loop and give you another clue; or point you straight to the hiding place of the CC Fugitive. It all depends on how lucky and clever you were at the association stage!

If a user then finds the Fugitive, then they will be awarded a score corresponding to the time from when the round is started (eg. started at 12:00, fugitive found at 16:00 = 760 points) meaning for every minutes a point is lost. It may not sound much but trust me, time goes very quick.

How do I know if I've found something?
You'll know. You're looking for a box that looks like the planetcricket logo with a white overlay with either "You've found the fugitive, turn him in" or "Calling Card no.1 etc.), or in simple explantion, looks like the Planetcricket fugitive logo but with different writing on it ;)

Do I need to report them? / How do I score?
No, you're never under any obligation to post anything. You can keep the information to yourself if you like, but you'll receive 50pts for every Calling Card/Identity Card found and posted; and mega points for the CC Fugitive.

To score, however, you must be the first on the thread to post the find - and you'll receive NOTHING for posting the CC Fugitive Card if the Identity Card has not already been posted by yourself or someone else.

---

Those are the absolute basics - you should know these before playing. I've put up some sticky threads in the Fugi Forum which will help out no-end; but if you've not got the time or don't want to participate that much, then the above is fine.

Good luck Fugi hunting. I want a good turnout for this ;)

However, if Barmyarmy or the other admins don't give me access to plant the cards in I will be unable to start this game

If any of you are interested then please say because the first round will start very soon

Well it may not even go ahead because Ste isn't sure of it, but I'll demo anyway.

The Clue = Cricsim Team

SO you would have to search the phrase "Cricsim Patch" or "Cricsim" etc. and if you're on the right lines you'll find it for example the Identity is Drewska http://www.planetcricket.org/forums/showthread.php?t=20267
there will be a card at the bottom of the post and when you find it, copy the image url and get to this thread quickly post on here and the first one to post it wins 50 points.

Then when you have posted the 1st of 3 calling cards will appear with the first clue of the fugitive eg. No I in TEAM, you'd search for the phrase or single words eg. "No I in team" or "Team". And If you dog through you'll find the post http://www.planetcricket.org/forums/showthread.php?t=20087&highlight=team with the 2nd calling card with the clue eg. 20/20 the worlds best and if you dig deep with the search tool you'll get to this http://www.planetcricket.org/forums/showthread.php?t=20135&highlight=England
and the 3rd calling card would be at the bottom of the post and for example the clue could be "The Cournal" and search for it with or without "the" on it. and if the post has the card with "You have found the fugitive, Turn him in" then you post the thread link in this thread (eg. http://www.planetcricket.org/forums/showthread.php?t=20176&page=1&pp=15 depending on how long it took you to find you'll get a big total of points.

ATTENTION PLAYERS

Ste has agreed to placing the cards in peoples posts and the game can formally begin. You're first clue is below

Happy Hunting!

I guess all the calling cards will be removed after each game, or well end up with a forum full of them.

Given up already? I'm dissapointed
Honestly, Searching through posts loses its appeal quite quickly.

Agree with Kev here,if I enter those words in Search it just comes up with loads of posts, after which it becomes pretty boring.

The Fugitive has stumped you all, and due to the failure of tracking the fugitives, a big total of 325 points have gone down the drain. But 675 points are still available ;)
