Dear Sir,

PlanetCricket's Domestic Asia Cup 2014
I request your commitee to start a tournament giving chance to the upcoming talent, but in a domestic season style. This tournament shall contain players from seven Cricket playing nations in Asia i.e India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan. This should be a 40 over tournament based story. Squads, Schedule shall be decided by yourself. As there are seven Cricket Playing Nations there will be seven teams each from the respective country. squad of a team consists of fifteen players with nine local players and six oversea players. each team will play six matches one match against each team. top three team will be qualifying for the next stage.

I've seen you letter, the concept and everything you've mentioned about the teams is good. I asked the ICC Chairman for a time for it. He has given it considering the Teams availability, sad that that this tournament will start after three years, as there are many important series and tournaments like T20 World Cup, 50-50 World Cup, Test Championship and many more. as you mentioned we will announce the schedule and everything and we are puting up a contest for fans like you in all the competing countries. there will be eight teams making it a even number with India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, UAE, Hong Kong and Rest of Asia

After Three Years

Three years passed, at last Sajam Nethi, Manager of Asia Cricket Council announced this tournament and named it as ACC - Asian Cricket Carnival. All the players from Asia will be participating and teams are announced and players will be picked on auction. Team Names are Rowdies, Pistons, Blasters, Titans, Champions and Gladiators.
