I have heard this talked about before but don't think a thread has been dedicated to it.
I feel it would be a good addition to ICC to develop some sort of randomization to the players so when you start you don't always no who's good and you actually need to work it out in your particular save
i will just use the common batting and bowling ratings as an example.
for experienced old players who have proven themselves eg ponting, tendulkar you could give them, a fixed rating say around 1700 what ever they are.
For players like Hughes and Mendis who are ICC gods maybe have them like 1700 plus or minus 250. As both these players have had very good starts to there careers in ICC their stats are way to high so in 4 years into an ICC game they are always a top of the batting/bowling ratings as well as other certain players. I feel this is not how it may work in real life (it may) after good starts Hughes was dropped after 3rd ashes test and Mendis for Pakistan tour and now the second New Zealand test.
Have maybe random ratings (with in reason) for all player 23 or so and under but for older players still have tiny amount of random but keep it more constant.
I feel it would make the game a lot more enjoyable trying to find out the gods in your certain save.... you guys thoughts???
