Can we please make it so thread owners can add and remove polls as they please because it is quite annoying having to get mods to do it and the last time a mod made a poll in my story is was done incorrectly

I agree with HP and Griff. Us story writers find it really hard to PM a mod to change the poll, hope they answer and change it back, all the while hoping they do it right. It's not as if letting users edit polls will cause harm right??

This question has been asked many times and even the mods cant do it directly from the thread...They need to go to I think sum modcp or some place!

It was coded into the previous vBullentin forum but now that we have upgraded it needs to be done again.

Because when you update, some of the database's memory has to be removed. So certain feature and/or modifications have to be done again.

Once we allow users to edit poll then we are also allowing them to edit the number of votes, which isn't a good idea.

so it was removed during the updates??? why???

No but the mods could as they are able to change the polls.

Can a custom hack be made so that members can only edit the poll and not the votes?
