You should be able to remove your own poll, in your own thread, i find it very annoying having to PM a staff member every time to remove it. I don't see any problems with this. I think it would be much easier for everyone, including the staff members.

We had this issue sometime ago. vBulletin does not have a feature for this. Prakash made a hack for it back sometime but it gave the person privileges to edit his own poll also.

I don't think it is necessary, just get the poll right in the first place.

We've got no problem with the principle just the practicalities. We've already got a custom hack so staff can do it not just admins.

maybe if you wanted to do another poll?

like for instance, you already made a poll and it was outdated and you wanted to make a new one quickly, why the hassle?

Moderaters are around for a reason, but i think they would usually have better things to do than to remove people's polls all the time.

You seem to have missed the point. It isn't as simple as just enabling an option. If you want to write and test a custom hack and then send it to us we'll be glad to do it but otherwise it isn't going to happen.
