Problems with Windows Live Messenger..

If anyone has had the problem where you can't sign in too Windows live (me and a lot of my friends have) then you should try this:

C:\Documents and Settings\YOURCOMPUTEROWNERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Live Contacts

Just change the YOURCOMPUTEROWNERNAME to whatever it is (eg Compaq_Owner). Go there and delete all the folders and it should work.

Messenger PlusLive-400 is great, I tried Windows Live Messenger but it didn't do it for me. Messenger Plus you can send your own sound clip(without a mic). There are other good things as well. It's free from:

I'm not sure about the plus! addon, I installed it for an older version for a while but removed it.

Damn this Messenger Plus does many things which are not goof for your PC. Thanks for the link Kev, i wont install it :cool: .
