Question re. captures

<span style='color:#000000ost_uid0'>Having only purchased the game last week, I have only just had chance to have a play around with the files etc., I have been trying to have a look at some of the captures that are in the "captures" file that I have not seen in gameplay, ie. "reverse sweep", "talk to other batsmen and point", I wanted to have a look at how these, and others, show up however, when I copy the capture and re-name, as we did in blc, I can not get them to work. Has anyone tried this and had success? is it because they are binary files, as opposed to rot. files in blc? any advice would be appreciated, thanks.</span>

<span style='color:#000000ost_uid0'>Sam2002, thank's for the reply, as it has taken me a week to make a kit that resembles my batsmen wearing short sleeved shirts, and it still does not look right!!, I think a hex editor is beyond my talents, never used one and would'nt know where to start!. I would be grateful if anyone who uses a hex editor could swap the files and post them for download, ie. swap capture "paddle swep" for capture "reverse sweep" etc.

Regarding kit, has anyone managed to make a realistic looking short sleeved shirt, for batsmen, especially Aus one day and test (with sleeve logos ie. "Orange/Travelex" and test number)?

I replaced the sweep files with reverse sweep files (renamed them) and it worked. Only thing is - the capture is ugly! It looks incomplete..may be that's why it's not in the game?

I have "made" short sleeve batting kit by making the batsmens sleeve "skin coloured", ie. copying the skin texture over the material on the sleeve, it looks o.k, just, more like a skin coloured sleeve!, but it does allow you to make 3/4 length sleeve, which is o.k

Shaliesh, I have tried that method, copying rev. sweep 1+2 to desktop, re-naming to sweep 1+2, deleting original sweep 1+2, and then copying the 2 from desktop in to the captures folder, it did not work!, batsmen still played othodox sweep, maybe I will try it with paddle sweep also.

I have not done much editing as yet, only had it a week or so, I have tidied things up more that editing, ie. making correct helmet colours, eg. india and aus 1 day, I do think this is a very editable game though,kits are easier that blc, especially adding logos etc. so I should be getting more done soon.
