FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY, everything works out for us. The Batsmen set it up really nicely, with Hain batting out of the world, and Morgan supporting him really well. And our spin trio was awesome! Carter bowled really really well, and Davey continued his ever good form.

Amla was also pretty good at the top. However, the other opening batsmen do need to perform. Slater, Rath and Watto all have failed in that position. Let's hope that Slater plays better considering the upgrades given to him.

On a side note, the strategy to go with a bowler extra paid off there. We had overs from Mitchell Starc and Gregory remaining there, in case things would've went south. All in all, pretty happy!

Haha, finally a satisfying result! Ben Stokes played a real match-winning knock with that century. Reminiscent of his World Cup and Headingley knocks. <3

Mark Wood was inarguably the best thing about our bowling. Simon Harmer did pick up a couple of wickets, but he was way too expensive even on an even pitch. Stuart Broad and Lockie Ferguson going wicketless is quite bothersome, not gonna lie. Steven Smith and Marnus Labuschagne not being able to convert their starts was disappointing as well. I just hope their performances here aren't a sign of things to come.

Gutting to have a rare defeat. Howell was extremely disappointing despite the bowling upgrade. Ironically, the other upgraded players, Malan and Pope, were very good, but no other batsman performed.

Gutting to have a rare defeat. Howell was extremely disappointing despite the bowling upgrade. Ironically, the other upgraded players, Malan and Pope, were very good, but no other batsman performed.

Virat Kohli & Adil Rashid only 2 players given there best in this match... Upgrades didn't works in this match, hope it will be effective in coming games... I give fair chance to Guptill, but he failed me every time... He always do great job in international matches, but in domestic games in here, he is been a disappointment... Woakes & Dernbach must need to find there rhythm soon...

Yet another close game. How strange it is to see bowlers dominating the game. Plunkett and Rashid played their hearts out. First they did the job with the bat and then with their bowling. It was an all round performance from the two. Looks like the batting upgrades did not justify. It's two victories in two games. Should we carry the same momentum we'll end up in top 4 for sure.

This is becoming frustrating.
Batting is not working, few players are just forgetting what they need to do. Bowling has been better compared to batting. There isn't consistency we desire but few bowlers are picking up the slack while batting department has send us back to the drawing board.
I think it's a win or die situation for us from here but seeing the performance that seems...

Bowling was top class in this match . After a long time , it came as combined effort . Topley has been the spearhead of the attack so far . Touchwood . An excellent opening start given by Bairstow-Dhawan against the likes of quality bowlers . The shuffling of top order batting positions would continue taking place as per the requirements ....

Skipper missed his century unfortunately . Our team is the only one remaining to have a Centurion . But won't mind that if we are winning matches , that's all !

That was an interesting match as an audience but as a manager very disappointing. we should have won the game, opponents bowlers were incredible to restrict us and defend such a low total, our batsmans really need to step up, Cortez injury is big blow for the teams balance which is evident in this game. I hope we have enough matches to recover back to form and find our place in top four teams and qualify for the next stage.

Spoiler: PITCH TYPES

1. Dry - A run scoring deck but helpful to top-quality spinners. Currently hard pitch type means ALL sorts of bowlers face points deduction. But in this case, only fast bowlers' points would be dropped and spinners points would stay put.

2. Dusty - Spinners points' will be improved drastically. Make sure most of your overs be bowled by spinners. Opening batsmen get a slight boost because ball is hard in early stages and it's not supposed to turn. A slight deduction in fast bowlers' points.

3. Green - Two of the fast bowlers who are most likely to open get a major boost. All other pacers in the team see moderate improvement. Spinners' points will be reduced to make sure they're hit for more than 7 rpo (although subject to simulator). Top 3 batsmen's ratings reduced considerably because new ball tends to move more than it would in latter stage of the innings and batsmen are likely to miss attempted shots often.

4. Damp/Slow - All types of bowlers get rating boost; batsmen face heavy deduction. Exactly an opposite scenario of hard pitch type.

5. Hard - Runs!!

6. Even/Normal - Balanced for everyone.

Spoiler: ACTIVITY BONUSES

• 0.2 Points if you post lineup. Can only be availed if the lineup is posted within given time frame.
• 0.5 (or after 24 hrs from match have passed then 0.3) points if you comment on your team's performance after the match.
• 0.8 (or after 24 hrs from match have passed then 0.5) points if your comments are constructive enough. (Should consist of more than 4 meaningful sentences.)
• Lineups for FIVE consecutive rounds will get you 1.0 and reviews/comments (of any sort, shorter/longer) after FIVE consecutive rounds will get you 3.0 additional points.
• Points will be granted only once per team. No additional points for multiple comments from a manager or managers.
• You can use credited points after third, sixth, tenth, fourteenth round.
• Can not use more than 3 points in full on a single player. If you still want to upgrade a player after a full 3 points boost, points will be divided in half. For example you'll need to spend 7 points on a player to buy a 5 points rating upgrade (3 full points + 4/2 additional points)
• Once the points are used, changes will not be reverted.
