Regret that loss to the Legends in the last OD game :mad Still doing well in FC though and a really good chance of getting the OD title :)

Both tables updated to Round 13

Whilst there are no movers in the FC table, the OD competition is shaping up to be a cracker. With 3 games left anyone can win it, even the Soakers 8 points behind, could snatch 2nd if results go their way. Donkeys still lead with 32 points, that's 4 ahead of nearest rivals Warriors and Legends, Legends beating the Warriors twice to be back in the hunt. The Bitters may lead the FC competition but are down in joint 4th place, 8 points adrift of the Donkeys, level on points with the Dynamos.

It's there for anyone to win, with the Donkeys in the driving seat as we head into the final stage of the competition...

Both ladders update to round 14

Well the top three all lost in the FC competition, to leave slim hopes of the teams below 2nd to make the final. Things really have hotted up in the OD competition. With 2 games left, the Donkeys have all but secured their final place with a win over the Bitters. Dynamos beat Legends to leave Warriors, Legends and Dynamos tied in 2nd on 28 points after Soakers defeated Warriors. Everyone still has chances of making the final, although it looks slim for the Bitters and Supersoakers who need to win both games and hope results go their way...

FC Ladder updated to Round 15

Bitters confirm top spot after a convincing win over the Donkeys. Supersoakers and Warriors draw, but Warriors gain 2 points due to first innings lead. Supersoakers will feel slightly aggreived as they were in control of the match and now it means they have to hope Warriors lose and they win to have a slim hope of going through on head-to-head. Legends move up a place, hoping to get third spot with a win next week.

The points system will stand as it is. Draws are very rare as it is and the system rewards teams for pushing for wins, rather than playing for draws.

We have had many draws in the last few games, it's time the points got shared equally. The alst game saw the Warriors get the points even though Soakers were on the brink of victory. Shouldn't be like that...

It would probably be better if neither team gets any points for a draw then, we dominated a match but don't get rewarded, while the Warriors got caned but get three points. Who cares how well a team did in the first innings, it's a two innings match isn't it, with both innings counting equally. And how rare a draw happens is neither here nor there.
