Guys, we need some help.

We are setting up a records thread in the ICC Records forum. I need to know what I have to do be able to access a game save file so that I can verify it. Can someone give me a run down on what I have to do? Will be rewarded with reps.

I've gone to my save folder, taken both the .cap and .sav files, compressed them. I am now trying to upload them onto here via the attachment bit, it's failed though though. What am I doing wrong?

You need Winrar to access some files of ZIP files after that then put those files into the saves directory.

Of course to give a CAP file you need to copy the files onto a ZIP file and attach the file to your post.

Is that what you were asking for?

Try compressing to a rar file.

Australia in 2027. (ICC 2006)

Best batsmen, second worst bowlers and I've just lost the ashes.

3rd in both formats.

Also, see if you can do anything about Belmont, he was averaging over 50 not long ago.

Here's my Lancashire team from 2044 in ICC III. There are a lot of great players (especially batsmen) as it has a lot of superstar regens. You can't use it online, even though it's on normal setting, because of the amount of tampering I've done with it, lol. Still, it should be a heck of a challenge to try and play against the best XI. There are 20 players in the squad with FC batting averages over 50 (22 if you include foreign players) and 21 players with FC bowling averages under 20. The all-rounders and wicketkeepers are pretty mediocre but that seems to be a feature of ICC III. I used to get all-rounders in previous versions that had second team averages of over 90 with the bat and under 10 with the ball but I haven't seen anything like that on this version.

I'd be grateful to have a decent ICC III save file to play against if anyone can spare one.

Can someone post ICC 2008 save games. There have'nt been any since the game was released. Cheers:D

If you still play ICC 2005 (Ashes Edition), like I do, I am attaching my Middlesex game. The game date is right at the beginning of the 4th season, April 1, 2008. It's an all-English team, no overseas players, just homegrown talent, if you're interested. Might be a good challenge.

Recommended line-ups

First class:

Strauss/Hutton
Smith (capt.)
Shah
Joyce
Wilkins
Dalrymple
Nash (+)
Betts/Keegan RFM
Cocker RFM, star bowler
Ecclestone OS
Hutchison LFM

N.B: Dalrymple is a decent spin option, Wilkins can be brought on occasionally to break partnerships.

Limited overs:

Strauss/New(+)/Wilkins
Smith (capt.)
Compton/New(+)
Shah
Joyce
Dalrymple OS
Nash(+)/Wilkins
Betts/Keegan RFM or Ecclestone OS
Peploe SLA
Cocker RFM, star bowler
Hutchison LFM

N.B: Try bowl Peploe over the wicket to right-handed batsmen, at leg-stump.

Yeah thanks fisch. But I know that you play the game by using those incredible field settings but I play it more like an arcade game. Will it suit my playing style?
