Does anyone else have problems with this?

I place the field, it appears to have saved it, but it reverts back to the standard custom field when i bowl. Only happens for leg spinners. Strange.

I use Ashley Giles (Who is Left Arm Off Spin) a lot, but yeah I had the same problem. But there are enough options in the non-custom field settings, and you can use 'em.

But its very annoying. You had comsumed time to set your custom field and later saved it, made it your default field. Later you see all your energy, thoughts went in vain as the field set is different from what you set. Disgustiing.

i can't because all the custom fields are the same to start with, and if i change them, it just reverts back to the original straight away.

He means the preset fields in game, just don't use any custom ones

But the all the other fields are rubbish and have gaping holes in the most obvious places.

Or one more option:: Wait for SAM's field editor and pray that it comes out soon..:D

I read about that ages ago and nothing happened. I won't hold my breath.

if you want to use custom fielders for leg spinners and left arm finger-spinners, then change CUSTOM1 for fast bowlers to suit your spinners. Use the other custom fields for your fast bowler. (By fast I mean fast or medium-fast, not medium. I t can be a left or right armer).

For me, i can use custom fields in one-dayers easily with any bowler.

I did try that originally, and it half-worked. But i needed to make a couple of alterations when the batsmen were finding gaps, and the custom field didn't change for the spinner no matter how much it changed for the fasts.

If you use Sam's field editor, it may not work anyway. Because spin bowlers don't accept custom fields...
From Duffarama.

Sams Field editor is supposed to customise the 'Default" fields.
