Shots without charging down the wicket - How can you play?

Hi everyone,
I am not sure that this is common or only i have problem. For making shots I HAVE to either use power button or charge down the track. But i see computer playing shots standing at the crease. So how is it possible. When i try backfoot, it only defends the ball. Doesnt play a shot. So am I missing something or it is just the way it is???
help appreciated.

try to practise a little more with your timing...you will get the hang of it gradually.

What should I practice, making shots on backfoot ?? or front foot?? give me tabs details you normally use. Thanks

this really can't be explained.Its simply that you can't play shots in this game with the same keystrokes as BLC.Try to press the front foot or backfoot keys a little late.

Hi ritwik so what you are trying to say is pressing thos "foot" kits little late along with direction key and i can play shots on backfoot too??
Please confirm, i will try dirrent things today.

Thats great. Now I know. I have to push backfoot selection very very very late.
In compare to blc this is totally different control. In blc we had to select the hiting directions and power the moment ball leaves bowler hand. Here it has to be done after it pitches and almost gets near you. hmmmmmm
well, i think scoring that way makes game more realistic. About an average of 4-5 runs per over. Otherwise with power shots, you can easily get over 12 average.
So are the controls same way in playstation version. I mean you have to do selection very very late????
And how the difficulty level makes it different game?? any idea???
