Yes that is the case for all photoshop versions, but if you change the aspect ratio of the image by altering just the one, it will stretch the image to fit the new ratio and it will look odd, especially if the image is a person. Also a tip here when using the scale option is to click the chain icon inbetween the X and Y co-ordinates and resize by dragging one of the corners, this way the image ratio remains fixed also.kuttakumar said:If you are using Adobe Photoshop 6.00 , when you the Image size box is opened, you will find an option called Constrained Proportion which is checked by default.
