I don't want arrogant responses and snotty remarks, just some help on the following. I bought Cricket 2004 two months ago, but thought I'd leave it a while until patches etc came out to make the gaming experience better. I understand there's a lot of info in the threads from two months ago but that is partly the problem.

What I want then. I want to be able to play the game with the line-up I want, save the game and use the exact same line-up throughout the remainder of the game. I understand that to kick things off though, I needed to open the .gob file in the Cricket2004 directory, using MultiEx Commander. (is that correct?) That doesn't work though, it says 'unable to open' for some reason. What do I do next? Is there another program that opens this file and where do I find it?

Like I said there's bits of information here and there but threads always seem to go off on a tangent just when I need the vital information. Please no replies that take the piss, just a simple explanation as to what I have to do next. Thank You.
