Not sure if any of you guys use specialist batsmen to bowl much, but I've personally had one very successful part time leg spinner in my Sri Lankan team.

I started using him because I don't like playing five bowlers in an ODI side as it shortens the batting lineup, and if any of you have played a long Sri Lanka game in ICC 06, you'll know there are NO all rounder regens for Sri Lanka that are even half decent (best you'll get is someone that averages about 30 with the bat, and 40 with the ball).

Anyway, here he is - he ended up with 172 ODI wickets at a respectable average too :)

this is the best ive ever had, only really use him in ODI's as i play 5 bowlers in test matches (1 allrounder), i also play the same 5 in ODI's but if one is being expensive then i bring him on for 2 or 3 maximum

phil jaques is my number 1 for this. have had games where he's averaged below 20 with the ball in both forms, and of course he's a formidable batsmen in these games. that was on icc 2006. I've had youth players who've been capable of similar - and therefore I suppose wrongly listed as batters by the game, which does do that sometimes - but he's the best starter all rounder imo
