This year Sri Lanka believe they have a high chance of winning as said by their coach, Marvan Atapattu.

Sri Lankan T20 captain, Lasith Malinga, has stated " We have a very high chance of winning this World Cup and want to fulfil our fans dreams." Lasith said to press

Jack Ryder and Hamish Rutherford walk out to the crease.
Ryder and Rutherford put on a good partnership of 49 runs before Rutherford was bowled clean by Ajantha Mendis for 29.
Peter Fulton walks out to the crease.
Jack Ryder and Peter Fulton added 83 to the scoreboard before Lasith Malinga got Peter Fulton caught behind by Kumar Sangakkara for 24.
Ross Taylor headed out hitting a quick fire 35 off 16 then getting caught by Kapugedera on the last ball of New Zealand's innings.

Tillakaratne Dilshan and Kumar Sangakkara come out to the crease.
Dilshan and Sangakkara put on 5 for the first partnership before Sangakkara was out LBW bowled by Tim Southee for 4.
Mahela Jayawardene came to the crease with confidence.
But before long he was out on his second ball for 4 caught behind by Ross Taylor and Tim Southee picked up his second victim.
Kusal Perera walks out to the crease and gets ready to face the next ball.
Dilshan and Perera got 37 runs before Dilshan got out for 17.
Angelo Mathews was next to come to the crease.
Perera and Mathews put on 4 runs before Perera was out caught behind by Taylor bowled by Trent Boult.
Jehan Mubarak came to the crease.
Mubarak was out for 7 off 4 in the blink of an eye.
Jeevan Mendis came out to the crease with Angelo Mathews still batting out his innings.
Mendis was bowled by Daniel Vettori for 17 off 11.
Kapugedera came out to the crease and... A GOLDEN DUCK!
Now Kulasekara came out to the crease with Vettori on a hattrick but it was a dot ball but the Vettori bowled him for a silver duck!
Lasith Malinga came out to the crease with Angelo Mathews still in and made 1 off 3 and another wicket fell!
Ajantha Mendis was the last batsman to come to the crease an got out for a silver duck bowled by Oram.
