Hey, I have been wondering this for a long time.
Like in cricket 2004, u can change the batsmens standing position when the bowler is speeding up...so is that allowed in real cricket? Like when I am playing with my mate, can I stand infront of the wicket and go 1 meeter to right or left if I wan't??
Thanks!

hell you can stand at the bowlers end of the pitch if you want, doesnt matter where you stand. Darren Lehmann is the prime example of this when he's playing spin, he stands on the edge of the pitch when he's feeling creative

Exactly, you can do what you want- you have to be pretty good to be able to move around a lot and not get out though, and standing in front of the wickets = probable LBW if you miss it

ofcourse look at Chanderpaul the way he bats ,when the bowler comes in the to bowl he then moves himself a few steps to right and forward

Hm...strange, I thought it wasn't possible...! So I can stand at the ropes when batting? Not hard to hit a six from there ;)
