Struggling with Measurements

I use paint for the images in my story but I always struggle to put a new image in the middle or 2nd spot because I have to get the width exactly right

Any hints on how I can improve it?

I have elements but i know it will take much longer on photoshop than paint, i like the simplicity. what would you recommend?

I seem to be getting better at working the middle picture with paint but id still like the measurements to be exact which is something id have to do with photoshop

Its measurements are not exact and its difficult to add the image in the middle without having to alter it roughly

Use Photofiltre Griffo!

It is free and it gives u the measurements of how wide and tall it is!

yeah photofiltre is pretty good with things like that...also won't cost you anything...

The GIMP, Photosfiltre, Paint.NET are all quite good free alternatives to Adobe PS.
