I play cricket in an actual league here in canda, with a season ball, and equipment, on proper cricket grounds. We play 50 overs each side....
but a few of my frends (usually about 10 of us play) play "super cricket"
let me explain...
each team has 25 overs, and 5 players per team. We play in an enclosed fenced box. Its simple...if it hits the fense without hitting the ground, its a six, if it bounces, and hits the fence, its 4 runs obviously. If he hits the ball, and it doesnt reach the fence, they can run in between the wickets. Now, if you hit it over the fense, you're out!
This game is so much fun. The higest score one of my teams ever made was 644 in the 25 overs With a good friend of mine scoring 302 (record to date) not out
i actually just got back from playing a super cricket match right now.. ill post the score card.
Team A:
1. John Samms - 2 runs, 1 ball -Bowled R. Sanga
2. Yohan Irani(wk) -139 runs, 65 balls - Hit over fence
3. Aspi Minechanhomji - 13 runs, 3 balls - Hit over fense
4. Asad khan - 55 runs, 19 balls - Caught J. Sidhu, bowled Z. Raghina
5. Saud Khan - 24 runs, 4 balls - Hit over fence
Extras: 7 runs
Total: 240 all out in 16.5 overs
Team B, chasing 240.
1. Zreh Raghina (me) - 20 runs, 5 balls - hit over fence
2. Sundeep Singh - 216 runs, 58 balls - not out
3. Jason Sidhu - 0 runs, 3 balls - bowled A. Khan
4. Victor Brown - 2 runs, 3 balls - not out
5. Suraj Virk - Did not bat
6. Ramnique Sanga - Did not bat
Extras: 3 runs
Total: 241 for 2 in 12 overs
Man of match: Sundeep Singh
yeah thats just one of our games. We have had so many, we keep the scorecards from all the games, and currentlly i have the 2nd most amount of runs and im also 2nd in wickets taken.
We have tonnes of fun playing super cricket.
Ill get some more score cards, as soon as we finish playing some more games.
Oh and here are some of our records:
Highest score: 302
Fastest 50: 9 balls
Fastest 100: 20 balls
fastest 200: 44 balls
