Good luck in the final boys. Obviously there is no chance of us winning as the game is completely rigged so that the Bitters win but we can at least give it a go can't we? Let us also not forget that it is Sohum's last ever game before he leaves. Let's do it for Sohum.

He is still staying on as a player - but yeh, let's give this great manager a final hoorah before he steps down - Sohum, you've been a fantastic manager, and I can't thank you enough for what you did with the Soakers, thanks for allowing me to take over and I'm delighted to say I can't wait to work my magic with the Soakers - I just hope it doesn't end in a Gareth Jenkins (ex-Wales rugby coach) situation...p:cool:

Because we have a better team selected perhaps? Did you notice that we have been crap at times, like last year, and in the One Day game mostly? It's because our team was too full of crap players. Teams aren't all the same, you need to have the right balance of pure bats, pure bowlers, AR's etc. We have the right balance.

The simulator is not rigged Matt, give it up.

A PROPOSAL

The Sohumm Cup

As Sohum is stepping down as the team's manager, I thought it would be fitting to have some kind of charity type series to give him a great sendoff (although winning FC would be the best sendoff).

I am propsing that the eight current active players listed as our current squad earlier in the thread, are to be split into two equal teams. Seven famous stars will be added to each team to play along with the Supersoakers players.

Each team will have exactly the same number and type of players with the same averages, to make it a 100% true contest.

The teams will play each other in three match series in all three formats (25/25 cricket, one day 50 over cricket, 5 day test match cricket) and one point will be awarded for a win in any of the forms, with 0.5 each if a test match is drawn.

I have already come up with the majority of the teams players.
