im having the same problems mate with my england team! There are patches available to help the ball swing and seam more but they generally make the gameplay harder! I have yet to see any swing from Matthew Hoggard or James Anderson in this game!

i looked in the booklet and it said when you want to swing bowl you press the relavent button when the bowling cursor is in the relavent place and then press the same button when the power meter is in the sweet spot.

yeah i have just re read the book again it says, in-swinger and out-swinger for medium bowler, and leg cutter for medium fast and fast bowlers (which i presume is the delivery that will get most seam?

use this link below i found it a real help in getting edges etc! It was on easy but haveing only had the game for a day and a half, this guide took me from conceding 15-25 runs per over to around 4-8 runs per over and taking wickets too! I dismissed west indies for 85 all out! Harmison taking four wickets, caddick taking 2 and some run outs (bug)

matt you are such an idiot, you did it the wrong way round with the quote, you need to put the link, then the text

anyway, thanks for the guide

well patches surely make gameplay realistic.

but i use my own patch and i'm quite satisfied with it.

i can spin and swing the ball. n problem at all.

try it.

and i think i've even solved the problem of seam movement which will be included in my next patch.

Haha, I have made my own Shane Warne and he turns it a mile. It looks like it is going for a wide then swoops to the other side of the pitch. I make sure it is a hard pitch and don't fill up any of the power meter. If you do it on a wet pitch however, it will bounce 2 times or snare an easy low bouncing wicket.

the booklet says that leg cutters make the ball swing and seam. where as in real life leg cutters and off cutters are slower balls that are ment to swing for pace bowlers

Nah mate. But someone could come up with a patch which makes fast bowlers swing the ball.

some one needs to make a patch where there is alot of visable swing but its not that hard to play. coz in real life you can always see bowlers swing the ball in any conditions. it makes it abit harder to face but all players can. but in the patches where it ment to make thye ball swing more it is never visable for med-fast bowlers but you get alot more edges.
