Taking a Pic with Fraps

I have fraps Version 2.6.4. and when I press the assigned hotkey to take a pic when I am playing BLIC nothing happens,no pic is taken in the folder.Can anyone plz help me.Thx in advance

Also maybe try the new version of Fraps 2.7.2 - http://www2.fraps.com/FRAPS272.EXE or some people have problems with the new version but can get V1.9D to work from http://www.majorgeeks.com/download149.html

Do you see yellow numbers displaying the frame rate of the game at the top of your screen when using fraps? Like shown in this picture - http://forums.legitreviews.com/images/random/callofduty2_demo_fraps.jpg

yes i see the numbers and all but when I press the hotkey it doesnt work

If you press the hotkey do the numbers slow down or pause for a few seconds? If they do sounds like the screenshot is definatly being taken. Perhaps its just not saving in the right folder or the right file type.

no nothing happens to the numbers
EDIT: dowloaded the new version same problem but this time the numbers change when I press the hotkey.they turn red from yellow the white and the normal(yellow)again

Are you definately looking in the right folder? You have to assign what folder it saves the pictures to.

Do you definately have the ability to see .bmp images? Maybe when looking for the pictures you are searching for files with a specific extension that is not a .bmp image. Can't think of anything else I'm afraid, other than that if you have the program not in full screen it will not take the picture.
