Team Discussion

I'm playing as NZ on ICC 09 and I've just finished Australia's tour of NZ. Phil Hughes made 2 100's and three 50's and Peter Siddle ripped through my batting line-up 2-3 times.

For me only Tim McIntosh, Jesse Ryder and Brendon McCullum have been anygood. Broom made a double century on debut (Bangladesh) but only made a Bopara like 93 runs in six innings against the Aussies. Ian Butler and Brent Arnel are decent bowlers though, as is Vettori.

I Kayes(wk)-Has done well in the Series against WI and also in WC. Let see how he performs now
A.Razzak-Best Test bowler in my team

M.Mortaza-Has done well in the series against WI and also done well in the WC. I dropped him in the middle as he was bowling very expensive overs but now he has become economical
M.Shazada-Done well in last few series. Dropped him in the middle for being incosistent

Should i change the batting order a little bit?

My Leicestershire team 7 OD and 4 FC games into my third season with them. I have played the same starting XI all matches except in different positions.

Batsman:
H Ackerman (C) Has hit 316 runs @ 45.14 in FC so far, highest score of 118. Only played 3 innings in OD for 78 runs w/ a highest score of 30*. Reliable #5 batsman.

M Boyce: Bad season so far averaging 8.71 in 7 FC innings and 14.67 in 6 OD innings. Will be dropped as soon De Villiers comes back from int. duty. Taylor is injured so its hard to find a batting replacement.

J Cobb: Defensive batsman, averages 61.20 in FC in 7 innings with 1 century and 1 50. He also averages 57.33 this year in OD but has only hit 1 50 but has hit a few not outs. Slow #4 batsman.

H Dippenaar: Bat him at #6. Hits 50's in FC down the order with 3 so far this season. Averages 37.57 in FC and 46.33 in OD

T New: Keeper batsman for the team since I cannot afford to drop a batsman to bring in a crap keeper. Hasn't performed in FC so far with 1 century and an average of 24.14. He bats at #3 or opens in FC and opens in OD. He has been the in form batsman in OD along with Cardew but he hits his runs a lot faster than Cardew. He has scored 346 runs @ 57.67 so far in OD this season.

J Taylor: Has been injured all season but he is one of the players who was assigned to the team after having a small squad.

K Cardew: Best batsman. Has performed in OD this season unlike the previous 1 and a half seasons but hasn't played his best in FC only averaging 31. He has hit 1 FC century and 1 OD century and 2 OD half centuries.

AB De Villiers: Overseas player but was playing in the IPL for the first part of the season and then went on tour with SAF so he hasn't played yet.

Keepers:

A Flynn and A Farr are my other keepers but they are crap so I don't play either of them

All Rounders:

J Allenby: Hits a few runs down at #7 in FC while being a good bowler. Has got 9 wickets @ 22.44 in 4 matches in FC and 10 wickets @ 30.40 in 7 OD games. Best FC figures of 4/56

M Radford: One of the players assigned to the clubs who is really bad so I don't play him

Bowlers:

N Doshi: Spin bowler in the side, has picked up wickets in OD and averages under 30 in FC.

T Henderson: Bowled alright with the ball so far this season and has hit a few runs down at #8 in FC this season.

I Arif: Great opening partner with Simon Jones picking up wickets with the new ball. 15 wickets @ 20.27 in FC and 10 wickets @ 22.30 in OD. Also most economical OD bowler.

S Jones: Star player for the side, picking up wickets in every innings. 19 wickets @ 16.97 in FC without a 5 wicket haul and 25 wickets @ 10.72 in OD with 2 five wicket hauls with best figures of 6/42. By far the best bowler

A Fuller and D Gratix are more players assigned to the side.

I'm going really well this season and hope to top Div 2 Pro League and County Championship while winning the Challenge Trophy. I hate T20 so I don't really care about that trophy.

Funknath - Mahbubul Alam and Sajidul Islam are two good opening bowlers for Bangladesh - you might want to try them. Your batting lineup looks fine though.

Hi,
Ponting
Symonds
Clarke
Hughes
Hussey
Katitch
This is best ODIs batting lineup team.

Got the best FC side to have ever lived the earth. Won the County Div. 1 for all of the last 6 years. Also managed to win the Pro League Div. 1, 3 times in them last 6 seasons but kept getting knocked out in the Challenge Trophy after such a good start in the group stages and always come runner up in the T20 (4 in the last 6 years and the other 2, I got knocked out in the QF).

My team is and yes I edited the budget so I could sign these players.

Eric McGregor (29) - Regen - 128 FC matches, 8264 runs @ 40.12 (Also has played 4 Tests and 9 ODI's without a 50)

A Henley (25) - Regen - 67 FC matches, 3657 runs @ 35.50 (OBT) (Also has played 4 Tests with 315 runs @ 78.75, 5 ODI's and 2 T20 Int.)

Andrew Hodd (35) - 165 FC matches, 9371 runs @ 35.90. 250 catches and 33 stumpings.

Tim Bresnan (34) - 213 FC matches, 9211 runs @ 29.15, 831 wickets @ 27.85. 97 ODI's to his name. No Tests at all.

Rudolph just retired and I can't sign Alam again due to being unavailable.

Callan is by far the pick of the bunch there.. he looks lethal. If he were an off-spinner he would be the ultimate bowler..

1)Michael Hussey-Pretty consistent
2) Shane Watson- Good opener
3) Ricky Ponting-Just came back from injury and is pretty inconsistent.
4) Michael Clarke-Going to drop him soon. He averages around 17, which is not good enough.
5) David Hussey-Best player so far in my team. His average is around 65
6) Cameron White- Very handy spinner, doesn't do much with his batting though.
7) Brad Haddin-He's my finisher
8) Mitchell Johnson- He's crap in my game for some reason:crying, hardly takes any wickets and his batting has been disappointment too.
9) Brett Lee-He can be very expensive with his bowling but still manages to take wickets.
10)Shaun Tait-Best bowler in my team.
11)Nathan Hauritz- Hardly takes any wickets but pretty economical.
