When I misread the title, I thought Evertonfan was leaving the forum! Obviously I didn't see it was in the Cricket Chat forum

I'm not getting into a who was better than who debate but I did enjoy watching him play.

I think most new ball bowlers would fancy themselves against Jayasuriya with the way he just flays across the line off the ball. Just a hint of movement and you've got yourself an easy wicket.

well Luckily Jayasuria had a last good test match but he should have kept playing test cricket till he got the 100 wickets then retire

Word has it that he was asked by selectors to retire himself or suffer ignominy of calling retirement after being dropped from side. Wonder .

Jayawardena once said that Jayasuriya is selected first and then rest fo 10 guys are selected. :hpraise
