Most Indians don't like Football and those calling it boring know nothing about it. Anyway most Indians know very less about the sport and are very less involved in it.
I always prefer Playing Football over Cricket whenever possible even watching on TV.

I would be straight forward, and say this is a very stupid topic to bring on. Both are different sport and has different positives and negatives.

Both Sport have existed for similar amount of time, and we all know that crowd all over the world are more attracted to as u call them "sissys", than the brave men. If one knows the game in and out ,they'll know what it is all about.

This is a stupid discussion. Football is the best sport in the world. Cricket wont even feature in the top 5, although I do like both.

And its not like footballer are sissys.....its tactics to draw a foul and take advantage. Cheap but who cares when you win?

Although an excruciating injury, Brown's injury and broken legs in general aren't really a demonstration of courage or toughness. You obviously don't get up after one of those and play out the game.

Should've seen afterwards. He was so calm when he went off. He wasn't doing a Gary Lyon and making it look like he was having a seizure. Just sat there calmly like nothing had happened.

I have to say, although I like football, I tend to agree with the latter part of your arguement. Football is without a doubt the most popular sport, which is the better sport is just down to opinion, so there is no point in arguing about it.

That's certainly not true at all, plenty of soccer fans criticise other sports. It's happening here.

Let me say that if you want to talk about the toughness of players, you may, but don't turn this into which sport is better debate. There is no answer, it's down to preference. Popularity is all relative, because the initial growth of soccer was due to the fact that it was played in a superpower of the world. AFL didn't have that chance, because in 1858 when Australian football was first played, they were still part of the British Empire and had no influence around the world.

Popularity does not change the fact that it's all down to your personal opinion which sport is best.

In terms of toughness, soccer players aren't really in that top bracket, but I would say that neither are cricketers, they wear a lot of padding so it's not a huge issue. In AFL, there is no protective gear used whatsoever and players crash into each other a lot more than in soccer.

Soccer is a boring one dimensational game with no variation and no excelleration.

Logically, AFL is the best sport in the world because it's the most entertaining to watch and best to play. It takes a variety of skills & requires great fitness.

I'm glad AFL is only Australian based because they've got the setup & salary cap perfect so that on average you'll see 6/8 competitive games each round.

Soccer is also crap because one team can dominate but one shot on goal from the opposition and a blunder from the keeper can cost you the match.

1-0 isn't a decisive victory.
