Hey
Well, being an avid cricket fan living in a smalltown in the US is depressing. No one to play with, no one to even bowl at you, no training whatsoever.
So i've gone with the good 'ole ball in the sock "training". For those of you that don't know, its when you put a cricket ball in a sock and tie it to the ceiling and practice defence/straight drives/knock your bat in.
How good is this for basic technique training purposes? Is it even ment for training at all, or only for knocking bats in?
