madden....fifa franchises have been in development for years.....and as far as fifa is concerned.......the gameplay still sucks...there is no realism in fifa....just arcade style fun.....with scorelines of 6-1 etc......

the improvements have come gradually

remember this is perhapes only the third or fourh installment in the cricket series by ea ased on the current game engine....

im hoping that it will get bettet.....
there have been improvements since cricket 2002 ....be it how ever small...
the fifa franchise for a period was the same game released each year with updated sqauds ..i mean it was the same game with no updates in ai features etc just the new sqauds..ea only started working on the ai since pro evo came on to the scene and still this years version the gameplay is exactly the same.....so ......

i know that many people are a bit disappointed with the game....,....c2004

but this is a relatively young series compared to fifa and nba and stuff

but heh....at least we have got the patches...lol...hahahahha

I think you are missing the point to why most of us are unhappy with the game. It is the fact that there are serious bugs in the game that reduce the long-term playabilty, and EA actually released it in that state. It could not have been playtested at all.

Cricket 2004 may have cosmetic changes from the previous version, but I wouldn't say they were an improvement. A lot of features have been carried over.

Graphically it looks nicer, until you look at the spectators. Soundwise, there is little difference. Gameplay could be superior if it weren't for the bugs.

As most people on this forum know I have been very critical of 2004, but I think it is well justified.

You hit the nail on the head Steve. Could not sum it up any better.;)
