I keep getting absolutely hammered in one day matches.

What do others do as regards the bars for batting and bowling?

I have recently got the hang (slightly) of conceding less runs in the first 15 overs by mixing up the bar from all out attack to normal almost ball by ball and changing the bowler often but I just cannot get the hang of batting.

I can seldom get over 200 and always lose wickets at vital times. Where do you guys tend to start the batting bar (from its default position) and when do you up the aggression?

I find it very difficult to get even the likes of Klusener to score at a decent rate and even when the batsman is in with a good score behind him and the aggression pretty high it usually doesn't work.

I am not too experienced at this cricket management stuff so maybe some of the more experienced guys could give me a few hints and tips

Cheers

Well, there is a problem with the agression bars, as it never seems to work even if you go up to full. You really need to get a good start and get lots of runs between 1-15 overs and 40-50 overs.

Daym im a coward, i hate OD Games, ahh well, i lose em all the time so i soppose it aint out gud, but im a mean ass in County cricket, making 600+ near enuf every innings, ahh well, Ponting and Gilchrist in at 3 and 4 works!!!!

If you score low a lot, pack the team with 2 pacemen, 1 fast bowling all rounder, and 3 spinners!

If your opening bowlers get hammered, get your 3 spinners on for a while. Slow down opposition run rate. Always works for me :)

Well you always try to have 3 pacers and 2 spinners, and maybe a part-timer. Spinners tend to keep the score low, while Pacers tend to pick up more wickets. Another tip is keep the bowler, he improves as time goes on.
