To the patch makers: a request

I guess Tutsi gave a good idea to remove all ur older attachments to free up space on Planetcricket and make it faster. But it is giving a problem. The patch makers who attached their patches with their download threads have followed Tutsi's idea and removed their patches from the attachments but now the patches dont show up in their download threads. I was just browsing through Indiancricketer's thread to download his Dish Network graphics but couldnt find the attachment at all. If you guys make patches and want to follow Tutsi's advice, plz back up ur patches on some alternate web file hosting service and provide a link to that before removing ur attachments. This way, people who search for patches in threads dont get disappointed.

If you google a search on "Free file hosting", you will get millions of options on hosting files.

I think Planetcricket has enough bandwidth to handle this, unless Ste or some other staff member specifically told you to remove the patches.

Well its good that most have taken my advice and have removed their older patches.

But the one thing they must remember that they should not remove their final graphic patches.

1. A.I patches should remove their older patch because they are useless since everybody will be using their latest patch.

2. Graphic Patchers should remove all their earlier BETA patches for a graphic after they have released the final version of it. And also in terms of pitches, etc, they should remove their older version if they have released a better looking version.

Hope everybody understood what ment to say.
