Hi Vineet,


I would like to know will it be possible for you to just transfer the Knonk Out Champions trophy in Cricket 2002 From Venue Bangladesh to England. I know you already have done this in World Cup 03 patch but I am not asking for that , what I am saying that please make a patch which only changes the venus of the Knock out trophy from Bangladesh to England, every thing else remains the same. Please please guide me how to make this change. I am saying so because England is going to host the ICC Knockout Champions Trophy in 2004.

It's not actually possible to change one venue, while keeping all the others the same.

Someone make a patch that will transfer the Worldcup to Indian Subcontinent(India,Pakistan,Sri Lanka & Bangladesh) :bow:

Are you actually paying attention to what I say?

It is impossible to do this while keeping all other stadiums the same

ie. You can't do what you asked.

andrew when u guys changed the stadiums, u just renamed them correct? i remeber when i had the patch on, i toured zimbawawe and got the oval and then i tour england and got cape town(i knew this because the stadium looked like the oval and cape town)...

So babai in other words, ea has made a preset of how many stadiums will be used in each of the tournaments. So u see the knockout only has one(dhaka)...so then vineet would have to rename dhaka to lords(but the stadium is still dhaka), and then dhaka to lords. So when u tour south africa it will say welcome to this match in lords(even though u are playing in rsa)...so inconclusion he can not move all the stadiums to host knockout trophy, he can only do one, since that is the preset.

What I mean, is that if you move the knockout from Dhaka to say, Lord's, then all matches played in Lord's would be played in Dhaka.

Having the Knockout at a no of venues in England I dont know how to do .If you want to make a 1-1 exchange eg: Nottingham for Dhaka, it can be done.

The easiest way to do this is to edit your exe file to exchange the stadia and make the required changes in the stadium .tex and .x .png and .bts files for the two stadia you wish to exchange.

By writing either a batch file or a small VB prog that renames your folders dynamically and using a separate exe for your knockouts and another for your regular game you can exchange any stadia without affecting your normal game.

A more complex way to do this would be to patch the exe in memory but it can cause confusion since many people have many different exes modified by different patchers. Even when keeping things simple people keep finding ways to ask for tech and patch help
