Toca Race Driver

I love these games as they are so brutally realistic but once you get winning a few you get to grips with it.

I'm stuck on a certain bit on Toca Race Driver 2 (PSP) and I have to beat someone to get to next round of a tournament.

He starts 3rd on the grid, I start 14th :

I've always been a fan of the ToCA series (Toca 1 & 2 on the PS1), however, the Race Driver games in the series haven't been up to scratch for me. I enjoyed TRD 3 for the first few weeks, then began to realise that it was actually quite poor. Codies have tried to put far too much into the game. It's more a jack of all trades and a master of none.

Wish they would use the BTCC license they have. :
