Lampard to Madrid? Wow, shock definitely.

Pavel Nedved is a complete and utter legend of the highest standard. Bayern Munich very lucky to get him on a bargain fee.

Good work. :)

Good lord. Micah Richards, Daniele De Rossi and Ben Foster were all incredible buys for their price and even Dunn was about a bargain. Some realistic transfers there though and love the presentation, Shantanu.

Keep it up. :)

Top Work Shantanu, Should be pushing for a high place this year.

Tottenham Hotspurs make triple singning .

Heading towards Tottenham

Totenham Hotspur made a triple signing just after the transfer window closed . Tottenham signed 3 players all aging below 17 years . Spurs first signed Arsenal wizkid Aaron Ramsey for a compensation fee of 4m .

Tottenham to signed 2 Chelsea 16 year old players namely the Israel international Ben Sahar for 1m and another whizkid Franco Di Santo for 1m again .

They are expected to compete for a place in the reserves initially but will hope to break into Shantanu Ambekar's side in time.

Ramsey is a string forward and was higly rated as a hot prospect who signed for Arsenal but Tottenham offered him a contact as he was below 17 years . He is set to make his Wales debut soon . Ben Sahar and Franco Di Santo are also regarded to make name in future .

These signing looks like adding a lot of youngness in the side and looks like Tottenham have a bright future ahead

Haven't Chelsea only just signed Di Santo? Anyways they all look like good signings, especially Ben Sahar who if people didn't know is a fantastic under 21 striker for Israel as is being touted as the next big thing. Nearly a wonderkid.

Great buys and nice to see you be making some purchases for the future. Does your transfer kitty ever end? :p

Loving the story mate, top work. :)

It's Championship Manager :p.

Great signings. You have a very good squad with a lot of depth. They are a title winning side .

Yeah its Championship Manager 07 and in that you can buy the player one day after his transfer to another club . And all of the signing are under 17 in the game and so can offer them contract directly .

Thanks for the comments to both of you :happy

About the trsnfer kitty I had 58m after selling some 7 players and buying 2 players . Then bought Lahm for 15 and these three for 6m

Newcastle United vs Tottenham Hotspur
St James Park
10.09.2006

A crowd of 51,033 had turned out in St James Park to watch two teams fight for 3 points . It is perfect for playing a good game of football. There is a calm dry wind and temperature was about 18 C.

starting-10.jpg

I had sticked with the 4 - 4 - 2 formation . Making just one change Phillip Lahm played at right back instead of Richards and Richards played in the center and Dawson was given a rest . Malbranque came in for Lennon as Steed's great form was unable to keep me away from the starting XI .

As usual Berbatov and Robbie Keane the skipper lead the attack .

Dos Santos , Lennon , Gomes ,Dawson and Kaboul were on the bench

Newcastle United to went with the same 4-4-2 formation . Former Spurs man King was in the center defence with Beye and Geremi at right back and Bernard on the left . Another former Spurs Edgar Davis played in the center of midfield alongside Emre . Their attack was lead by Martins and in form Albert Luque

It was gonna be more tight than the last game and I wished my team good luck and I went with Gus to the sidelines .

Key men to watch out:

Philip Lahm : former Bayern Munich German international made his Tottenham debut . He is a very pacey full back who can play in any position and is also handy going forwards .

Albert Luque : In form striker for Newcastle who surely cause problems if left alone .

The game is gonna be tight and the first goal will matter . Hope we do score it . We expect a tight draw . 0-0 probably .

---------------------------------------------

Odd's Column

The odd are in the favor of the home side Newcastle United .

Newcastle United 3/4 , Draw Evens and Tottenham Hotspurs 3/2

Great updates, stuff the Geordies after stuffing us.

A draws on the cards, or a very narrow win for you. Tight match for definit.

Fantastic presentation as usual, keep it up. :)

Big money spent in the transfer market, you gotta hope it pays off. A strong Newcastle team there but I reckon it'll be a tight Spurs victory!
