Transfering ICC 08 On To Another PC

I am buying a low spec laptop, and i want to put my copy of ICC on there.

I have my purchase reference number, is this all i will need when i redownload ICC from the childish things website?

If i need anything else, don't think i have it anymore. I presume ICC has put a licence key or something similar on my pc as i uninstalled it a while ago and after reinstalling it i didn't have to enter any licence details.

The license number works on two machines. I have done it with my laptop, I can't remember the exact process, but it is easy enough and you'll be able to do it.

Yes, the same computer can remember the license key, it did that with mine when I was testing for the on-line bug.

I don't think the purchase reference is the right number, you need the license key. If it doesn't work when you try to re-install it, contact mailto:[email protected] You can get it from there, though you may need the purchase reference number.

I only needed the reference number when I just reinstalled it. There is an option for 'I have forgotten my details' inside the game though, just pop in your email and they'll send you what you need.

if lisence details wont work email softwrap they will add reinstalitions.
thats wht i did and got my reinstalations back.

I just tried to install the game on my laptop, but it said my licence number has already been used in an installation.

I should contact Softwrap, then. The license is set so that it can be installed on two machines.

I did, its working now thanks. Sadly, the game runs so laggy for some reason its unplayable. Yet fm 09 works well??

I tired windowed, made no difference.

When i check on mem and cpu usage during icc windowed it was cpu usage 50% and mem usage around 100,000.

The odd, gay and frankly annoying thing is i got this laptop to play ICC 08 when away from my PC knowing full well i would not be able to play FM 09, yet it has turned out the exact opposite.

Sadly i have not been able to get as far as a match due to the lag,i could try though i suppose.

Yes, i found a fix, no more lag on menu's. Downloaded dx 8 and 9 files for a program called swiftshader demo v2.01 and placed them inside the icc08 folder.
