Low technique though. Just train on batting technique until he is around Expert/Expert then maybe train his power a bit more. A good buy though.

Dude, that's an amazing buy. Low technique isn't an issue because he's a new player, low league, plus has plenty of time to train him. 1k was a good steal.

I've picked myself up 3 accomplished bats, an accomplished bowl, then a few decent reliable/capable players, to make up a strong team. I've got a mod for the pavilion cup, he seems like a bit of a dick, doesn't want a close match, he wants to win as quick as possible. I'm playing my best possible team, and if I win the toss, bowling, to give him as many fitness hits as possible, so he's tweaked up for a bit. Hopefully it goes to plan, and my accomplished players step up, as he has players with massively bigger than me ratings.

Seems a bit expensive just for the Ireland U19 thing. I'm struggling to find accomplished bowlers atm, got 3 accomplished batters.

Got this guy for 23k, will be training him into an all rounder.

He's got average power and fielding which is good and he also has a bit of endurance and his technique is one level ahead of his batting so I can train him on batting for a while. Anyway, got a good buy here.

No, that isn't a really bad buy. I sold a 16 year old average batsman close to the end of the season for $200,000 with like ordinary endurance and like poor power but he did have reasonable technique but he should easily be like reasonable/reasonable by the end of the season.

Edit: I now know the reason why there are so much bargains out there. The squad limit of 22 before the training effectiveness takes a hit. I had to fire all players below capable and now my oldest guy is 23! Might have to fire some capable players too if I get the players I'm after.

Haha yep, all the youth moving to senior really stuffed up the balance. You should have lots of room for youth but you will have to think wisely before buying anymore seniors. I'm only going to buy accomplished.

Thursday i.e. when Senior training occurs. For each additional player you have above the 22 senior squad size you lose 5% training effectiveness.

Well if you have 30 players, you will lose 40% effectiveness so it will take nearly double time for each skill to pop.
