He's been trained terribly. You're never gonna make up that tech gap and you're paying a huge wage for someone who is going to be terribly inconsistent

He isn't a first XI player yet and won't be for 2-3 seasons. Plus I'm currently in a SOD league way below my team strength due to not setting orders for a while so he'll do a decent job against most of my opponents while I rest better players.

Plus I have 8 players earning a higher wage than him. So I'd hardly call it a huge wage.

But he's a long term signing and I needed someone in pretty quickly for depth. He's only 21 and not in my top 6 so won't be playing every match just yet. Plus I still have 600k+ in the bank. Also the youngest Spectacular batsmen on the market currently are 25 and the lowest prices is 450k. There simply isn't much of a market for what I want to bring in so I have to make compromises somewhere. I'm not saying it's a great signing but I don't think it's terrible either.

I think I still need to bring in one more good batsmen. My batting line up has pretty low endurance due to being young and 2 of the better ones being keepers.
